OK This is the coolest. Here's my tinkers:
Affects ALL posts (or just the ODD-numbered posts if I set anything different within the "Alternate" below.)
I set Background Color to a purple.
set the Background Image to the gif smiley sitting on a christmas stocking then waves and falls in.
Set to repeat then took a peek. ALL were in the boxed area behind my avatar on the post page. Yay
I'll bet if I set this for my site, this would be the background for ALL members not just one person's.
